I enjoyed the opportunities what we’ve been given to increase our interest in math and science.
The activities and programs really opened my eyes to the power of science and math in the world.

I also really enjoyed getting to know other people and make friends.

I really enjoyed the Cooperation of Mathematics Seminar, I found that the information that was presented was very useful and enjoyable. I also really like the interactive learning because it gave me a chance to talk and meet new people

It was surprising to learn how math is integrated into our everyday lives, ways that don’t seem obvious (game theory). Also how animals/nature uses the tactics in game theory. I also liked the food, decorating the puzzle piece and meeting new people, lunch, egg drop challenge.

I enjoyed meeting new like-minded girls and talking with them. I also really enjoyed the “Imagining a World with Kim” workshop, Vanessa was amazing! The Powering the Future workshop was also interesting and really opened my mind.

I really liked my first session with the Math Guru, Vanessa Vakaria. She was really fun, and positive role model; but most of all, she was relatable. She made me really feel confident about my ability with math and reshaped my image of stereotypes in math.

I liked the interactive learning that each program had. I also liked the different mixes of students at each event, letting us make new friends with similar interests.

What I liked most about the day was the sessions and the time we had during the breaks because we got to communicate with other girls from different schools. The volunteers were very nice and understanding.

I liked how well planned and organized the day was and how the activities and classes were well thought out. I especially loved the Design Challenge.

I liked that for the Design Challenge, we had our own unique ways to protect and score with the egg. It shows us how differently each of us think. I also thought it was fun that we had a limited supply of things so we had to think outside the box. I liked the design part [Be Creative: Why You’ll Love Designing Apps] because she told us the process of how she made her APP. To me that was amazing because in the future I aspire to be an entrepreneur/CEO of my own brand/lab etc.

I liked the speakers and the nice people who taught us about all the different sessions were very good at it and that all your lessons and knowledge and activities were all creative and great.The egg drop was very fun and exciting.

I liked that every participant, staff and volunteer was gentle and friendly. Cultural respect was presented throughout the program. Also, I learnt that math was not a boring subject. It is involved in so many exciting fields, which I would like to consider as my future career.
